Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Jacket. Sheds too much down insulation... I have had this jacket for a month or so. I do really like this jacket. It keeps me warm while walking the dog, running errands around town etc. I also has a very nice, athletic fit. With that said, it sheds like crazy. I waited a month to see if the shedding was just a new coat issue, but unfortunately it is still shedding. At this rate, I'll probably lose half the insulation in it within the next year. Since this is my first Marmot jacket, I am a little disappointed with shedding issue. Fix the shedding issue and Marmot would have a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fitted jacket. Love Marmot products, think they're one of the very best companies out there. Always had a love hate relationship with the Zeus jacket because of its incredible warmth but boxy, unflattering fit, the Tullus has an awesome, much trimmer more athletic fit. My one remaining issue is that there's still a little restriction in the armpit area when I raise my arms. I'm 6'1" and 190 lbs. Maybe I'm just caught between an XL and L size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sheds Like Crazy I have purchased other Marmot jackets and was very pleased. I recently purchased the Tullus and was very disappointed. Feathers are shedding from every seam. It gets all over my clothes, my car, and anything else I come into contact with. I would not recommend this jacket!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great fit, poor manufacturing I had a Zeus in Black that I loved but it was a couple of years old and had some wear and tear so it was time for something new. I liked the blue color in the Tullus and the style. I ordered the jacket and it fits great but I have only been wearing it for a few weeks and lots of feathers are coming through all over the jacket. Especially on the back. In fact I was wearing it today and my brother said, “I think it’s time for a new jacket.” And he pointed out all the feathers coming through. I have worn Marmot exclusively for several years - down and fleece jackets and always purchased them without shopping because I trusted the quality. Maybe the company was sold or they are manufacturing this jacket somewhere else but this is absolutely not the quality I expect from Marmot. I only hope this is not indicative of an overall change in the quality of Marmot products. Very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks feathers all over Pros: Athletic/slim cut is great. Appropriately warm for the size/weight. Nice price point compared to a higher fill power jacket. Cons: LEAKS FEATHERS EVERYWHERE! Don't wear a dark top layer under this jacket - you will look like an old man who doesn't know how to do laundry because of all the tiny feathers that will be clinging to your shirt. Marmot has been making mid-to-high end down bags and jackets for ages, so I can't believe they would design a jacket like this that pukes feathers constantly through every seam. I guess whatever factory in China they outsourced these to does not have experience with down. Bummer, because the jacket otherwise would be great. If you never wear this jacket with street clothes, then maybe you won't care if you get feathers on your base layers and car seat, but when I buy down gear, I but it for the long haul. At this rate of leakage, the jacket is going to be significantly less warm in only a few years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrated with newly bought Tullus Hoody I just got Tullus Hoody jacket for Christmas. I've started using it a couple of times and I've noticed that it's shedding feathers. There are a lot of feathers sticking out the jacket. No matter how I plucked out the feathers, there are relentless tiny feathers coming out the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for This is a pretty standard light down puffy with hood. I was hiking with this as my outer layer wearing only a medium weight merino wool long sleeve shirt, and was nice and warm at 40 degrees. Easy to vent when I was starting to heat up. I wore this as a middle layer under a fleece vest and huge down puffy coat at zero degrees, and quite warm. The hood is large enough to cover two wool hats, but not so large as to come down too far, although from time to time the hood did interfere with my headlamp. The zippers work well however it would be nice to add zipper pulls for use with mittens. The blue-ish color I purchased is an odd shade of blue, however I like that it's a little different than everyone else's puffies. Light snow for a couple of hours was shed off the fabric and I was concerned about the jacket getting too wet, however it was fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wont stop shedding Got this jacket for Christmas and has not stopped shedding, pretty sure there will be no feathers left by spring. Overall not very durable and would not recommend until the shedding is fixed.
