[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this bag for two summers now, I'm 5'9",180lb so pretty average, and this bag is slightly too narrow at the shoulders, I very rarely zip past the elbows. I love the weight and size though. Will probably give it to my son to replace his kids version and find a slightly wider bag for myself. If you are broader than normal is avoid this bag.

Compact Light Sleeping Bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very happy when I received this sleeping bag. It is compact, lightweight and will work great for summer camping. Also the fabric has a soft feel so will be great to sleep on instead of the typical plastic feel of synthetic material. I have not used the bag yet, but will update after use.

Probably Rated Closer To 50 Degrees
I know that these ratings tend to vary given how well the person using the sleeping bag handles the cold and other weather factors. But after this past weekend, I'm fairly confident this is closer rated to 50 degrees than 45. I was camping around Asheville, NC this weekend for 3 nights and tested this out in actually cold weather (40s and 50s versus 60s and 70s, which is what I tested it at last time). It worked fairly well but I give it about a B- for how it handles actually cold weather. The tempertures for the weekend were between 45ish and 55ish and on the 45ish night I was bundled up in 2 tops, a beanie, very thick Smartwool socks and Smartwool thermal base layer pants and I was just warm enough. Even at 55ish I was wearing extra clothes to keep me warm and, as far as I'm concerned, if a sleeping bag is rated for a temperature, I should be able to use it in just my underwear...or at least very minimal clothing. Still, I love that it's so compact and otherwise well-made. It definitely does the trick for almost 45 degrees.
