Tungsten 4-person Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tent is compact and light. Nylon tabs which retain the poles could be stronger. Can't wait to test it out to see how dry it stays in the rains.

Tungsten 4p Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this tent a lot. I appreciate that I do not have to fish the poles through fabric. I can just hook the clips to the poles and snap the rain fly. It is fairly roomy and is truly freestanding. The floor material is a little thin but being careful where you set your tent up and using a ground sheet or tarp helps. I've used this tent in 100+ degree weather and freezing cold weather. It ventilates well and keeps the rain out.

Amazing Tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great tent. Held up very well since the last couple years. Looks and feels very premium. Very easy to set up too.

Good Solid Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Marmot Tungsten 4 person tent for a few years now. It's been through very heavy downpours, mud, and many less than ideal conditions.... the tent has taken everything thrown at it and come out Great. After a few years it is sagging just a bit but still sets up reasonably tight. The "bathtub" constructed bottom is excellent to keep out water infiltration. This tent may not be ideal for backpacking due to weight.

Good Tent So Far; Better Instructions, Please

I really like the tent; I've only used it once so far - a week of camping in Voyageurs National Park. Having switched from a classic high ceiling dome tent, the reduced height has been a bit of a adjustment challenge. I love the small vestibule entry areas. It's easy to set up for the most part, but it gets a bit tedious when you have to attach the Velcro strips on the inside of the rain fly around the poles. Also, the instructions for setting up the tent are 8-10 wordless drawings which left me figuring some of the set-up on my own. Wish the instructions would have been clearer about how the larger hooks/clips attach near/at the top of the tent and how they interact with the red poles. Searched for a good set-up video on YouTube and found none.

Nice Tent, Easy Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set it up in the back yard with sons just so its not the first time when we are in the woods. It was pretty easy and seems to be a quality tent. Hopefully it will last through years of backpacking/camping with my boys.

Perfect Tent For Fall Bwca Adventures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Tungsten 4-Person Tent on a 03-07 OCT BWCA trip, and it performed extremely well for three male adventurers and all our gear. The tent provided plenty of space, and it kept us dry and comfortable, even in colder conditions. Setup was quick and easy, and the durability of the materials was clear. The tent handled the wind and elements without any issues. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable and spacious tent for outdoor adventures!

Tungsten’s Very Solid

My scout troop decided on Marmot’s in 2015, and we’ve been very satisfied. We mostly have Tungsten 3’s (comfortable for 2), and recently we’ve diversified to 4’s (for 3 scouts) as well as 2’s (for 1 scout). Solid all around.

Quick And Easy To Set Up And Take Down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I go camping alone with my two kids and our dog, and the big family tent takes too long for me to pack up alone. The first time my son (11) and I set this tent up in the yard, it took us only 6 minutes! Having the external frame with clips and color coding makes set up quick and easy. We were snug with the three of us and our dog, but comfortable and happy with the size. We experienced a day of rain and everything stayed dry inside. After four trips so far with this tent, I’m still super pleased with my purchase

Love This Tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tent last month and I’ve camped in it twice. The tent is easy to set up with one person and fairly lightweight. The inside comfortably sleeps 2-3 people. It also kept me dry in heavy rain and the vestibules provided extra dry space to store my gear. Happy camper!

Spacious Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just pitched this tent moments ago, it was a x-mas gift. Very easy setup, lots of room and comes with the foot print. Even though I haven't put it through the rigors of camping yet if it's anything like my old Marmot Lime Light, which lasted 2 decades. I thinks I'll be fine.
