No Durability!

I bought this bat in July, it lasted 4 momths. My daughter is 12 years old small frame not a power hitter. I was shocked when it broke into pieces.

Disappointed With Condition Of Marucci Asura Bat Received

I recently ordered the Marucci Asura bat for my daughter through Dick’s, as it was something she was really looking forward to and needed for an upcoming game. One of the main reasons we chose this option was the guaranteed delivery timeline—ensuring it would arrive just before her game. Unfortunately, when we opened the box the day before the game, we were very disappointed to find that the bat was not in brand new condition. It was missing the standard plastic wrapping typically found on both the grip and the barrel when sold new. Additionally, there were visible dirt marks, scratches along the barrel, and what appears to be a smudge from prior use. This is not the experience we expected, especially from a retailer like Dick’s Sporting Goods. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay full price and receive what appears to be a used—or at the very least mishandled—product. We are requesting a resolution, whether that be an exchange for a truly new item or a refund.

Picked up the 28/17 for my 8u daughter wish we had went 29/18 little bigger sweet spot good pop when you hit the the sweet spot but it’s small on the 28 if there not a solid ball striker I would look at the Demarini line its much more forgiving twice the size sweet spot wish we had stayed with a CF or maybe the new Lotus

My daughter loves the Asura. She has the Echo Connect and it was a good bat but she needed another bat. The sound the bat makes when she hits the ball is amazing. The bat is definitely hot out of the wrapper.

The bat has a great feel and great pop. Exit velocity is the highest with it than any other my daughters have tried.

My daughter loves this bat. The balanced feel and weight is perfect. The ball launches off this bat and the sound of the ball off of it will tell you right away if it was barreled.

Ghost Killer

I was worried about ordering it before being able to try it out since there were none in-store to try out. It’s an Incredible bat. Hot straight out of the wrapper. Well balanced with good grip. So far only used during hitting lessons to break it in. Can’t wait to see it live in action during a game.

Hot Out Of The Wrapper, Well Balanced

We just got this bat in and have used it twice. My daughter has been swinging a ghost unlimited (one piece) for the last year and said she likes the feel of this one better. I also got her a Kyro during the trade in offer and she isn't a fan because it feels too end loaded - I feel like for a small 11yr old, even the drop 11 is a tad too heavy but for older girls who have the muscle its exit velos are amazing. She said weight wise/balance this feels like her ghost but it seems to be a little more forgiving on the hands. Can't speak to durability yet, I am sure like the ghost it will have its challenges but this is leaps and bounds above the former DMND Marucci and a totally different class of bat. We purchased the 31/20 and its the perfect size. Definitely recommend this for a younger player, looking for pop who wants something other than the ghost.
