Set fit my 10-year-old well. I am curious to see if the velcro is long-lasting or wears out quickly.

Strikes Out For Young Players
Poor fit, bad Velcro, and constant adjusting. The youth set is a letdown. The intermediate version is awesome — wish they built the youth gear the same way.

Chest Pad To Big
I got this gear yesterday. Everything is perfect except the chest pad. It says the gear should fit on everybody from 4-4 to 4-11 and I’m 4,6 1/2. The pad just decides to push up to my throat every time I squat down and it messes around with my helmet. We have done many adjustments and it will keep doing the same thing. Everything else is fine though.

It's A Hassle With In-store Employees
This catchers gear was deffected, leg straps do not work, strap on chest protector broke. We drove 20 mins to original store purchase In Cerritos mall, to then drive 30 mins away to West Covina. We had our account receipts but in store associate didn't want to accept. It wasn't until we went to West Covina and we had customer service on the phone who spoke to the store manager. We then were able to exchange. There is no need for us to drive over and hour, wait around 30 minutes, go through 4 on the phone associates and 3 in store associates.

Big Problem
I bought this catchers gear for my son, he is only in little leauge so we wouldn't buy the s7 or force 3 catchers gear. We saw this price and were blown away. We bought it and when we got home he tried it on and lets just say, the range of motion was terrible. He could still catch the ball and thats all we thought of it. And the next day is were we ran into our 2 problem, the chest protecter was way, way to big. It kept jamming him in the throat and when I mesured it said that the chest protecter ( plus the 3 inch throat guard) was 17.5 inches ! with out the tail even! So we tried to break it in but that didn't work and regarding that it should be skin tight, we returned it.
