Christmas Gift
I bought for my husband, boy was he surprised. Used it to do ribs and they tasted great. Need to learn amount of smoke to put to it. Disappointed that the cold smoke box accessory was discontinued.

Better Than Expected
I bought this about two weeks ago and used it last weekend for the first time. Yes, you do have to assemble the base and some minor parts, but I would say it's as easy as assembling a bicycle. For me the Bluetooth distance is better than I thought it would be. My last Masterbuilt had a remote that came with it and I would have to stand at my window upstairs to change the program time or temperature. With this one I can lay in bed and change them. Anyway, my first smoke in this unit was a beef brisket I cooked for 14 hours and it came out great! As good as my last Masterbuilt. I like the fact that I can take the racks out and also take the rack holders out. This lets you clean the entire inside of the unit. People talk about the temperature being off in their smokers, but I didn't experience that. Sometimes leaving the vent too open can cause a large change in temperature. To put it simply, the unit arrived in great shape, it seems to work as expected, so now only time will tell on how well it holds up. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'd do it again.

Control Panel Not Working
We purchased this smoker about three weeks ago. It was delivered very quickly, but the control panel does not work. We’ve contacted Dicks and we’re instructed to contact Masterbuilt because it’s a manufacture default. Masterbuilt has yet to respond. After multiple attempts, we are needless to say, frustrated!
