Awesome Smoker

I bought this for a Christmas present and they absolutely love it!!

Meh

I got this as a Christmas present from my wife who really had no idea what I wanted in a smoker. I am not impressed with vertical smokers to begin with and then a gas “smoker” on top of that, I was less than excited. I put it together and set off to the store to purchase some meat to make its first smoke. This little guy surprised me a bit but could be a lot better. There is no seal around the door and smoke just pours out from every crack and crevice so I believe you lose a lot of smoke flavor. My biggest issue is the door handle. Plain and simple it sucks. I have tried to adjust it, I tried to re-read the instructions thinking I had done something wrong, but no it is assembled correctly the design simply sucks so now at one week old I keep the door closed with a ratchet strap. The handle will turn and turn and turn and never move the latch to either open or secure the door. This is a VERY SIMPLE ENGINEERING FIX if they wanted to fix the problem because I certainly can not be the only person with this issue.

One 20lb Propane Bottle Last Close To A Year Cooking Every Weekend.

Whether I'm smoking ribs, brisket or jerky, I never have to worry about electricity. A 20lb bottle of propane lasted me about a year cooking every weekend. You can use wood chunks instead of chips. I've built competition smokers mounted on trailers etc.for people. This is, too me, by far the way to go. I have one of these for my R V and the larger one at the house.

Cooks Great! Easy To Operate And Use.

Have had my smoker for about 5 years, still going strong!
