I’d been wanting to invest in a good pair of sunglasses and found Maui Jim through a Reddit recommendation. I really liked the packaging and the thoughtful invitation to visit the Maui office in Lahaina, which I later learned had unfortunately burned down. A few months later, I unexpectedly had the chance to visit Maui and brought my sunglasses with me. I found them super comfortable and really well-made. But what surprised me most is how much they literally change how you see the world. They filter out so much harsh light, and everything becomes more vivid; it's almost like watching a film. It was honestly incredible to be able to see Maui through these sunglasses. They gave me a whole new way to experience one of the most stunning places on Earth and inspired my aloha ʻāina.
