Does Not Lie Flat.
Great color, but does not lie flat when closed. To me, this makes them unusable.

I bought these for my boyfriend. He has had a few pairs of the regular Ho'okipa (they look great on him) and thought the Ultras might be more durable. Maybe they will be but we both like the style of the regular ones better. Great quality sunglasses.

These are the worst lenses to clean. I use a microfiber lens cleaner & its next to impossible to get the lenses clean.

Ultra Green Is On The Scene
Great shades! As with the many pairs of Maui Jims I have worn over the years these are comfortable, protect my eyes, provide great visibility. I like the green…not sure my wife has ever liked my style but to each their own…I am happy with this purchase. For context I prefer the lightweight non metallic frames with curved lens so sun doesn’t get my precious eyes from the sides. Wish I was able to wear these on the beach in Maui or hiking thru some lush growth on the side of Hana. Maybe someday.
