Do Not Buy These Glasses

This is for the Hulili model. I treat my glasses well, but Maui Jim's proprietary screw keeps coming out and the temple falls off. I have sent the glasses in twice, and it just keeps happening. The screw goes into a metal female part that sits within the frame. When I try to tighten the screw, the female part rotates too, so I can't tighten it, and the temple eventually falls off. Again, I have already sent these back to Maui Jim (they make you pay for shipping each time), and the problem keeps happening. This is a design and manufacturing defect. Do not buy these glasses.

Wowie Maui’s!

As I’ve aged, my awareness of lens distortion on cheap sunglasses has become a problem… I can emphatically say the optical clarity and visual detail when wearing my new Maui Jims is amazing. It’s definitely quality at a price, but for the most bang for your buck and your special sunglasses you’re not going to find anything better than this… the thin glass is light, the optical clarity and polarized lenses make details pop. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for something to enhance their vision when out in the sun!

Love The Product But The Quality…

I love these in terms of the fit and of course the great MJ lenses. They fit my large head well and look good. I have to agree with the other review from, coincidentally, Greenville, SC that the screw keeps coming out on its own. I have to set the screw every few weeks to make sure that the frame doesn’t fall apart. For this price, this should not be an issue. Also, I have 9 pair of MJ sunglasses purchased over the last 10 years and this is the first fail that I’ve ever had. Purchased July 2025.

Great Look And Lenses. Not Great Construction

The screw that goes under the spring hinge on the frames keeps working out on its own. I think the arms will fall off of the frames eventually. Not sure if these screws came loose from the factory?

I have been pleasantly surprised after buying these to have a different style. I was a previous owner of the Stingrays and thought I might not like that these weren’t wrap around, but I have really enjoyed them.
