Ups N Downs

These are one of the best sunglasses for men out there. The are extremely best while fishing. You can see the fish in the water and they protect your eyes from glare. Extremely light weight. But they scratch easily. I have never owned a pair of sunglasses that scratch so fast and easily.

Love / Hate Relationship

Almost everything on these are awesome. The outstanding color contrast from the lens. lightweight feel and adjustability on your face , and awesome looks of the frame are top notch and up to Maui Jim standards. This is the second pair of MJ's I have owned over the last 4 years. I use these to fish and play golf in and I carry my case everywhere for storage. The lens quality is not up to MJ normal standard as they scratch so easily. My Frames are in perfect shape but the lenses are scratched. I spent a lot of money on these at retail price and I am disappointed that I will have to shell out more for lens replacements. I can't see the scratches while wearing so much, but they don't look good with scratches while wearing them. I'd like to continue to be a loyal MJ customer and continue to purchase mor, but would like to see a more scratch resistance lens.

Lenses Scratches Too Easily

I bought a pair of Maui Jims Red sand. The frames fit great and I also like the nose pad. The lens clarity are great and I like the polarize feature. The reason I give these sunglasses a 2 star is because these lenses scratches way too easy. I take great care of my glasses, I always put them in the case when I'm not using them and always clean the lenses with a glasses cleaning kit. If Maui Jims can improve their lens durability and scratch resistance. I'd give these glasses a 5 Star.

Cheap Feeling, Cheap Looking

SUPER lightweight and cheap feeling. Exactly the same quality you get for free at the dentist or a parade. Guarantee the frames cost 50¢ to make. Also the “grey” color is a tacky fake silver almost like they were spray painted. After decades of buying Maui Jim I am so disappointed.

Lenses Scratch Easy

The adjustable nose is great! Much better than the competitors that have fixed nose bridge. The quality of the lenses is terrible though. I'm super careful with my sunnies, always store them in the case and clean them with the provided cloth. You look at them wrong and they scratch

Extra Careful

Unfortunately, the lens scratches easily. You have to be extremely careful. The look is what I expected.

As always with Maui excellent optics and comfort. This one is nice and light weight too.

Good Shades, But Beware The Lenses Are Very Fragile To Scratches.

These glasses were great at first, but by my third day of wearing them (I took them on a vacation and have had them for about two weeks at the time of this writing) the lenses were already damaged from minor use. I am not sure if Maui Jim will assist with replacing the lenses or if I need to pay to have them repaired. Might just stick with cheap sunglasses from now on! Overall, pretty good but you need to be very gentle with them in my opinion. Pros: Lightweight, great view/colors, comfortable. Cons: Expensive, fragile.

Definitely the absolute best pair of sunglasses on the planet!! Maui Jim is the game changer , superb polarization, to which no other can compare !!! Once you have a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, you will never purchase something else. Period!!

Dissapointed

Arms came misaligned. Took them to have them fixed and they were still not aligned completely. Going through the lengthy return process now with MJ. Hopefully the next pair have a little better quality control before leaving the warehouse.
