Nice grip. Great quality and should last a while. Taking a while to get them broken so a bit rigid.

In my search for lacrosse gloves that strike the right balance between safeguarding my hands and maintaining a strong connection with my stick, I recently put the Maverick Men's M5 Lacrosse Gloves to the test. These gloves intrigued me with their promise of offering a commendable mix of protection and tactile feel, and while they do have their merits, it's important to explore other options in a similar price range before making your final decision. Protection and Tactile Sensation: The Maverick M5 Lacrosse Gloves certainly excel in their primary purpose of providing essential protection during intense gameplay. The strategic placement of padding on the backhand and fingers instills a sense of security against checks and impacts, which is crucial for players who prioritize safety. What sets these gloves apart, however, is their ability to maintain the tactile connection with the lacrosse stick. The level of feel these gloves provide gives players the advantage of maintaining control for accurate shots and handling. Comparative Perspective: While the Maverick M5 gloves do impress with their protection and tactile responsiveness, it's important to note that there are alternative gloves available within a similar price range that offer superior features and craftsmanship. Exploring slightly higher-priced options could potentially lead you to gloves with enhanced fit, better ventilation, and increased durability. Durability and Construction: In terms of construction, the Maverick M5 gloves hold their own, but they may not withstand the rigors of prolonged and intensive gameplay as well as some of their higher-tier counterparts. The materials and stitching are satisfactory, but for players who engage in frequent and demanding matches, signs of wear and tear might become noticeable sooner rather than later. Final Thoughts: In conclusion, the Maverick Men's M5 Lacrosse Gloves are an intriguing choice for players who value the combination of protection and tactile sensation without delving into the realm of higher-priced options. The gloves offer effective safeguarding and stick feel, making them a respectable choice for players seeking a balanced performance on the field. While I do recommend considering the Maverick M5 gloves, especially if you're seeking a solid combination of protection and feel, it's worth exploring other gloves within a similar price range to ensure you make an informed decision that aligns with your preferences and expectations.

This is my son’s second pair of these lacrosse gloves. He seems to like them. They are comfortable and breathable. They protect his hands. The negative is that they only last one season. The gloves themselves were fine, but the material tore around the thumbs. The stitching came apart. For the price, I would have hoped they would last longer. I have attached a picture of the part that tore on his last pair.

My daughter switched from her Warrior Nemesis gloves to these and she seems to like these much better. She says they’re very comfortable once they’re broken in. She likes that she could hang them on her bag by the wrist strap. I wish the thumbs offered a bit more protection.

My son needed new gloves and he has been looking at the M4 for a while. Since the M5 were out he wanted to get those and he loves them.
