Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction I bought this mat to use for practice between rounds. At first it worked great, but after a very short time it started to show signs of wear. At first, a small hole appeared around the point of contact. The hole quickly grew due to the poor design of the mat. Unlike most golf mats where the "grass" is embedded into the rubber, the grass on this mat is layed over the rubber base with a few dollops of glue. The end result is a mat that will be unusable within a few uses. For less money I was able to find a replacement on Amazon. I'm short, save your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Only after a few fat shots the turf ripped up making the mat unusable. The price seemed fair. Quality was poor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inferior design. Fell apart in 2 months The design uses beads of hot melt glue, applied to approximately 25% of the surface, to attach the turf to the substrate. Within two weeks the adhesive began to fail and the turf rippled. Continued use propoagated the ripple to a tear in the turf and ultimate product failure. A more robust design would ensure the turf is fused to the substrate, as is used on Maxfli commercial mats. The Store Manager in Madison, TN refused to my return of this product stating I had "abused" the product. Yes, I continued to use the defective mat until it was not useable anymore but to accuse of me abuse is insulting given the clear design flaw. I have been a customer of Dicks Sporting Goods for many years. Unfortunately you have lost a customer for life over $22.49.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for chipping and pitch shots, but not for full swings. I purchased the Maxfil Performance Series Hitting Mat about a month ago to practice hitting muchy and plastic golf balls into my hitting net at home. After about two weeks of hitting chips, pitches and full iron shots from the middle of the mat into my hitting net, I noticed that about an inch long piece of green turf has come loose from the rubber base of the mat near the hitting area. I was disappointed because I thought the mat would last longer. I don't think the mat is durable enough for full iron shots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I have had this mat less than a month, have not used it all that much and it is already falling apart. Probably would be fine if all you plan to do is hit ball off a tee but the mat around to hole for the tee will tear away very easily. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ripped third swing. Just bought this dude at my local Dick's. Stepped into the back yard to take full swings with wiffle balls with the Pwedge and to my disbelief riiiiiiiip! Right down the middle. Dang.
