[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rope lasted a good while getting beat up on roof climbs in NC. Maxim's sheath design is unique and performed well over its use. The 9.9mm version of this rope doesn't do a great job getting through a gri gri, but it will still look brand new after working your project all day. I would recommend this rope to be your long day multi-pitch and work horse rope that can take a beating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this rope for the first time yesterday on a granite low-angle slab. The twill weave of the sheath makes for a very "slippery" feel, and it slithered off of every sloping ledge we belayed on! It just wanted to slide downhill. A good thing, actually, as it handles well and always came down fully when pulled down after rappelling. A confidence-inspiring rope!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 2x dry smoke maxim a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. its been used on 6-10 climbs since I bought it, and its extremely durable, it was dragged up a lot of sharp rock with no fuzz forming on the outer sheath. also for me its the perfect stiffness. I would recommend getting it if you want a super nice workhorse rope.
