New, But Not Mature Enough

I'll still go with the laced ones, they offer better protection and are not much more thicker where it counts, and they don't really take much more time to put on. They also adapt better to your foot because of the laces which can be adjusted exactly, and also the wraps. These are an interesting try, Could've been designed better actually, I have an obvious design improvement I can suggest and in that case they would offer I think the same degree of protection as the laced ones. They do offer some protection, but why go with these, when the laced ones offer better protection and with just slightly more thickness.
