I purchased this for my 10yo as extra protection while playing baseball (he’s a catcher but has also been hit by a ball to the chest) he normally complains about most extra gear but has he no issue with this.

Must Have For Your Baller On The Diamond!
If you have an athlete in baseball or softball, I’d highly recommend this sternum protector. The shirt is made to be tight around the body so that the hex design stays close to what it is protecting. It has given both my kids confidence don the field as they develop in the game. The material is light and has mesh so it’s breathable and your athlete can wear without overheating. The only one area I would improve on this shirt is the neck line is also small but rides high, peeking out from under their jerseys.

Very Breathable

The added protection is really great for my partner who plays sports but it might be uncomfortable at first as you just have to get used to it being on your chest when you play. But definitely adds that peace of mind knowing that it’s there to absorb some of the impact if a ball hits your chest.
