Last year, I wore my first pair of Agility Peak 5's for a week of of hiking in Yosemite NP and for a 60-mile backpacking trip in Glacier NP. They were incredibly comfortable and they performed perfectly on the trail. I liked these shoes so much that I purchased a second pair for a recent 40-mile backpacking trip on the Ruby Crest Trail in Nevada. Once again they didn't let me down as I hiked over dirt trails, rocks and through snow fields and creeks. There is a big reason why I purchased the same shoe 2 years in a row. They make my feet really happy and I trust them. Thank you Merrell!

Comfortable shoe. Mostly using as a house shoe for now - helps to keep my feet issues at bay.

Great shoe, wore these for the first 429 miles of the Appalachian Trail… probably about 50 to 100 miles too long when comparing the sole to the new pair of Peak 6’s. The Peak 5 held up well and the gaiter features (Velcro on heel and loop towards toe) accomodated most gaiters.

If you tighten the laces too much the material of the shoe rips. They need a grommet or the equivalent thing for a shoe.

Love these shoes so much, took them on a 7 mile hike (icehouse trailhead in CA) no complaints and all the traction i could need, did notice that when wet i would loose a little traction but on the trail they dry quick making them perform at there best when i needed them. Getting a second pair for the dry trails i go on, these are beautiful to casually wear.

There is a large slash, gouge in the side of one of the soles...
Nice light shoe. It's not soft and squishy like a thick Altra sole, it's a firmer sole if that's what your looking for. For the price it's a great shoe.

Shoe is very comfortable, wore them in Sedona and the red rocks ruined them. Shoes are now orange and won't come clean. Also, they are not waterproof and even a little water made them quickly seep through.

Very comfortable and great footbed. Highly recommend!
The nubs on the bottom sometimes make for unstable footing on flat ground but they have great traction on snow and turf.

I have had way too many foot surgeries. I have been trying to find a comfortable walking shoe for every day. I have purchased plenty of so called orthopedic shoes. These shoes are more comfortable and I walk better in them vs the “orthopedic” shoes. The other best part is they are a lot less expensive

Agility Peak 5 is a home run, especially for the trails.

I love Merrell as a brand and these shoes looked very comfortable for running. However, upon receiving, I realized that only the left insole had a bump that set my entire leg in pain within 30 minutes of workout. Had to return these.
