Great Hiking Boot !

Always liked the Merrell Moab 2 Hiking Boots, Now the Moab 3 has come out and I Like this Boot even Better !..The Earth Color is Great for Hiking and Casual Outings. Lightweight, Yet Tough and Strong on the Trails ,Great Ankle Support and a Comfortable Fit.

Not Durable Or Water Proof

I bought the Moab’s for general use and couldn’t be much more disappointed. They are supposed to be waterproof but any water contact goes right through to my socks. Now a year into use around the yard pieces of the sole have broken off and the stitching is failing. I couldn’t trust boots by Merrell again.

Durability

Replaced my Moab mid Waterproofs after 8 years with the new Moab 3 Mid's and am loving them

Sole Failure

Sole came off after only about twenty miles of use. I have had around 15 pairs of these over the years that I was happy with. won't buy them again because of the lack of company concern with the quality of the pair that failed

Sole Falling Off

The sole started coming of after about 20 miles of hiking. I dont know what happened to this brand, i have used this brand for years with no problems. this pair fell apart after around 20 easy hiking miles, with no support from Merrell. buyer beware.
