Not Waterproof

These "waterproof" boots are anything but. I am a huge Merrell fan and have owned many pairs, great fit, including this pair, usually long lasting, but someone forgot the waterproofing on mine. I mean, they're not even a little water resistant.

New Hiking Boots

Nice appearance, vibram sole and waterproof. Too early to say about longevity as still new.

Awesome All Around Outdoor Hiking Shoe!

This is my second Moab 3 shoe and I still wear the 1st pair but it is now down graded to the garden shoe...this second pair purchased is awesome and living up to the 1st pair I purchased. I walk everyday in them with my dogs and hike as well; next will be walking on the beaches of west Vancouver Island in Tofino, where the weather is changing frequently but I know my feet will be dry and warm and most importantly comfortable! Thank you Merrell! Don

Everytime It's The Same Excellent Boot.

Satisfied repeat buyer here. I wear a size 15. Not all manufacturers even make that size. Of those that I've tried the sizing has always been on the small side. Oh but Merrel.. Each new purchase fits the same as the last. In the past I worried that the waterproof boot would be too much for warm weather hiking. In my experience this isn't a problem. In fact I wear them in almost any conditions: 30 C + down to -15 C. Ankle socks in the summer, wool hiker socks in the winter. I typically wear out a pair every 2+ years. Yearly average of 10k steps per day. That's a lot of wear. Tough boot 🥾 works well in a wide range of conditions. Wll done Merrel.

Results Exceeded Expectations

First off, I bought these to take the mantle from an aging pair of Columbia shoes that were similar in price (adjusted for inflation). I liked the Columbia shoes, don't get me wrong, but they were at their end of life. Second, when I was considering these shoes, I saw a suggestion from Merrell that they might run a little small, and I should consider reducing a half-size (my Columbias were 10 1/2; I stepped down to a 10 but in a wide size this time). Good suggestion Merrell. While everybody's feet are a little different, turns out mine were made for this size, or in this brand at least. Third and finally, while I can't speak to longevity yet, I can say immediately that the lateral support in these shoes is far superior to the Columbias they replaced. Again, nothing against Columbia, I just like the Merrells more.
