The boots were very comfortable & completely waterproof. My suggestion to any shopper would be to verify you’re getting the waterproof version because there are two, one that’s waterproof and one that’s not. I’ve seen several reviews that they were not waterproof, but I believe the ordering system could be improved and customer satisfaction heightened if Merrell enhanced and clarified the difference between the two because it looks like you’re just getting a sale item when really you’re getting a boot that’s not waterproof if the cost is reduced. And it doesn’t specify unless you specifically ask the chat line so do your homework before you order them. But, that being said, very comfortable, perfectly wide enough for my husband’s wide foot, rugged AND waterproof! They were great hiking in Alaska & Canada during the rainy season. Thank you for a great product!

Fits Very Wide Feet Well

I ordered the wide width because i can almost never find a shoe wide enough, I need at least a 4E width, and I have some shoes that are 6E width, but this shoe fit fine, and it feels great also. I normally take a 8.5 size, so that's what I ordered and the length was perfect also. I have several pairs of the normal height merrell shoes and they are all great.
