Comfy & Durable
I purchased these boots over a year ago, and they are holding up extremely well. I love the confidence they give me out on the trail. Wet, rocky, sandy, no matter the conditions, they handle it well. I've worn them in the summers of Texas and in the winters in the mountains, I've yet to find conditions these didn't excel in.

The Only Hiking Boot!
I’m an avid hiker and own the female version. I purchased these for my son who his just now getting into hiking. Never any blisters or other feet issues and they have been used on some long hikes! Sizes run as advertised. Won’t try another hiking boot.

Took On Mt St. Helens In Deep Deep Winter
These things handles a literal mountain of snow! About 16 straight hours of hiking up Mt. St. Helens and with a pair of wool socks my feet never got cold or wet. And on the way down I was post-holing like a muther! Highly recommend and easily secured a couple different pairs of microspikes and crampons to them.

Solid, Comfortable Book Right Out Of The Box.
Very solid, comfortable boot. Had needed a pair of hiking boots for a trip and these were the most comfortable right out of the box, and required almost no break in persiod. Vibram sole was very grippy and worked well in both rain and heavy snow. It was waterproof and also surprisingly warm even during hikes in blizzard conditions. Only two mostly minor complaints on a great design which don't make them perfect: while hiking had to re-tie them a few times to keep it tight around the ankles, other would be to add a slight amount of cushioning to the insole.

Gore-tex Bootie Goes Pop!
These boots are quite comfortable, and the newer "smooth" finish for the Moab is really nice. Though I have family that have been wearing the mesh fabric style, and saying how comfortable they were, I had held off on trying them because the mesh fabric and suede were not suitable for hiking in the brush. But as soon as I had seen this updated version, I jumped to it, and I am definitely happy with the comfort and appearance; the fabric doesn't get debris caught up in it and the nubuck leather is infinitely better than suede, and I haven't had to fret about wearing these in the snow and rain. Further, the soles appear to have great wear as there has been little signs of wear after a several weeks of walking around town. I have worn several other highly rated hiking boots, but their soles had a tendency to wear down fast (despite being Vibram) when walking on concrete and pavement after just a few weeks of wear. On the downside for these boots, there are a couple annoyances that may be my own experience alone. First is the Gore-tex bootie Pop! I wear a size 13 and I have a long-ish stride. And with every normal stride, there will be an audible "pop" sound as my feet roll from the ball to the tip. My belief is that this is the result of the combination of the internal Gore-tex bootie and the fabric toe box. And I have had the same experience with other quality brands that use fabric over the toe; however, I do not experience any of this on boots where the leather covers the toe are completely. Thus I would love to see the next iteration to have the nubuck leather over the entire toe box area. The next issue is that the mid-height can get annoying because of how it rides across my ankles. I would definitely like to see an over-the-ankle version to get a bit more support and to help keep debris and water outside... I don't know how or why, but even when wearing long pants I will get small rocks and such jumping inside. Aside from that, I would really like to see these in a dark grey or black version too. All in all, they are very good boots that work well from urban treks to trails.
