Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Everything is great on this shoe except the front bottom. There is solid materials from the heel through the sole of the foot, but the material supporting the outer and inner ball of the foot is too thin. I feel the pavement and any small stick, or small pebble with every step I take. Still looking for a solid hiking shoe. Maybe I need to try their hiking boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable! As a partial amputee on my left foot, I'm always looking for the most comfortable fit... I can not begin to describe how comfortable and light these shoes are, I'll definitely be purchasing another pair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hiking shoe My wife bought these for me and although they fit we'll they have no traction on wet slick surfaces such as rocks which kind of defeats the purpose of a hiking shoe

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life savers When I tell you these shoes saved my life, it's an understatement. I found myself in free climbing situations while trekking in the Andringitra Nat'l Park in Madagascar. May times these shoes kept me from certain death with it's mountain goatlike gripping soles. I ascended and decended many steep faced sections of the course where good traction was paramount to the successful completion. I thank God for these Merrell Men's Moab Edge Hiking Shoes everyday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little narrow Pretty good shoe, it is a little narrow, but unfortunately does not come in a wide option. I took the insoles out that came with it, they were a bit bulky and had way to high of an arch, and replaced them with a flat insole. That helped quite a bit. Overall a pretty good shoe, just needs a wider toe box.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I expected more. I can’t wear these for very long. They don’t have much longevity.
