I love these boots! Waterproof super warm And grippy .. so far I’ve taken them up to high peaks in the Adirondacks and ice and snow and a Catskill Mountain. Excellent. Took this to Patagonia in November for 125km of hiking and it dealt with everything - waterproof for the most part, superb grip on all surfaces, comfortable under foot over rocks. I trusted the shoe’s traction on steep downhills and it was great. Maybe some slight concern about durability of the leather at the front seal and towards the edges. But overall a very good purchase and it looks great too.
