Excellent. Took this to Patagonia in November for 125km of hiking and it dealt with everything - waterproof for the most part, superb grip on all surfaces, comfortable under foot over rocks. I trusted the shoe’s traction on steep downhills and it was great. Maybe some slight concern about durability of the leather at the front seal and towards the edges. But overall a very good purchase and it looks great too.

Excellent boot ! Very light. Very warm. Absolutely great traction up and down hills with the Vibram Soles. I have not even come close to sliding on any type of gravel, wet grass, or even slippery wood logs on bridges that I hike on. I am looking forward to using them in the snow, slush and occasional icy spot. Certainly more money than many boots available but far better quality and well worth it in my opinion !
