boots are very comfortable and warm. the only thing that needs improvement are the laces. they are very thin, a bit awkward to tie. im used the laces on moab 2 hiking boots which are very durable and thick. overall very happy.

Excellent. Took this to Patagonia in November for 125km of hiking and it dealt with everything - waterproof for the most part, superb grip on all surfaces, comfortable under foot over rocks. I trusted the shoe’s traction on steep downhills and it was great. Maybe some slight concern about durability of the leather at the front seal and towards the edges. But overall a very good purchase and it looks great too.

I've had my pair for a year now. Wear them as an everyday shoe to work and use them hunting on steep rocky, wet, snowy ground. I found them to be very comfortable, light weight, good traction and my feet never got wet. I will get another pair of these when they wear out and am getting the Moab Speed 2 Thermo Mid Waterproof specifically for colder, deeper snow when hunting. Highly recommend these!!!

Very Poor Quality
After just three hikes, the sole began to detach, which was incredibly frustrating. I expected better durability from this product, considering also that is an expensive boot. I definitely do not recommend these boots based on my experience. I will think twice about buying Merrell in the future.
