I got these to replace my worn out Nova 2 waterproof wides. I primarily wear them for moderate trail walks and around town on rainy days. They are very comfortable though I was surprised by some of the changes from the earlier version. These shoes have a lot more padding than the previous version. Some who have had previous ones may be surprised by that. To put them side by side, you would not think they are the same shoe. For those who preferred the slightly more minimalist padding of previous versions, you may want to look at something different. Aesthetically, the look of the 4s is much better. They are still very comfortable, still water-tight, still great grip on the trail, just some differences from older versions.
