It’s Not My Favorite
The shoe has a weird shape to it, somehow it kept making me feel like I’m gonna roll my ankle and then eventually I did.

Too Much Drop
Good shoe, Nice Grip. Seems durable. Not bad. My only complaint, is the 10mm drop from heel to toe. Remember when Merrell did shoes that weren't patterned ofter those huge drops. This shoe would be great if they had a drop of like 4-5mm.

Inconsistent Sizing
The shoe quality overall is good, however the increased inconsistency in the fit is troubling. Of the last 10-12 pairs I have owned the the last 2 pairs have had a very different toe box width. One under one over. This is a new change which I’m not a fan of. In the past I could past I could put on a brand new of the box pair of shoes and have no issues.

Speed Eco’s Good Lightweight Hiker
Very nice lightweight (Merrell calls light-hiking) shoe with a lug sole that compares with a moderate or full hiking shoe. Sole not as stiff as heavier duty hikers but does the job well for me in moderate to difficult trails.
