Most Comfortable Snow Boots. Love The Air In Heel

Had a pair of Thermo 8’s for 12+ years. Loved them. Most comfortable snow boots I ever owned. Leather final separated from the rubber lower boot. No longer make the Thermo 8’s so I ordered a pair of Thermo 6’s for moderate snow and a pair of Sorel 8” Buxton Lace waterproof for any snowfall over 6”. Bring back the Thermo 8’s and I would not have a need for 2 pair. Purchased Thermo 6’s for lower <6” snowfalls (most common) because I liked them so much. Extremely comfortable.

Good Value

So far so good have used them at least a dozen times only complaint would be the snow that got in the top but hey all in all a good value for the sale price . If I have a failure I will let you know .

Avoid These Boots

I bought these a few years back, and therefore am not qualified for a refund or replacement after they’ve completely fallen apart from light seasonal use - so I’m dropping this review as a warning, don’t buy these! This season the outer rubber shell has come completely apart, separating from the laces, the soles, and is cracked. This was surprising, as my Merrill Moab hiking shoes have lasted 15+ years, I’ve worn them done to the point where the soles are smooth, and can even then they’re still usable. The two stars for these winter boots are for comfort - relative to other winter boots, these were a great fit for my wider feet, plenty of room for warmer socks, and before falling completely apart, held up well in the snow.
