Great shoe all around. Have enjoyed these on trails as well. Only problem with them has been that one of the lace loops failed so I have had to come up with an alternative lacing method. Very comfortable shoe though.

love barefoot running shoes (eg. shoes/sneakers with zero drop - i have xero shoes/sneakers, vibram 5fingers, etc...), so i wanted to give these a try. one thing that i love, is that they have a bit of an arch (i have flattish feet, and i always ned to add an arch support insole to flimsly zero drop shoes), so i don't need to add an addition orthotic for arch support (side note, they don't allow removing the insole, so if you must add a different insole, you'll might consider sizing up, because it will be tight) they fit my foot perfect (no need to size up)... i have a widish foot but not quite to warrant a WIDE specific shoe,... these boots let me splay out my finger toes comfortably, as long as make sure to lace up snuggly to prevent "toe smash" mainly used them for walking my dog in the snow, on the mountain when snowboarding (to/from lot),... i have not/nor intend to use them for any type of hiking.

Would win Best in Show, Excellent All-around...I have a hiking/trekking shoe problem (name the brand, I might have 2 pair), and if I had to pick only ONE, to wear every day.. doing every thing..for eternity...it's got to be this one. Sizing: I'm an 11.82, medium. I have the greys size 12 here. Great fit, there'd be extra room if needed. Toe box remains roomy due to lacing grid, but it's welcomed. Nothing thicker socks/insoles can't fix of course if it pleases you. Closest thing to a barefoot shoe that I've put on and liked. They call this a barefoot and I won't put up a fight, but they seem pretty tall (FOR a bf shoe). In any case, it's close, and I do love the grounded feel, but only because the tread is so supportive. Ya know how most shoes are either very technical, or, "go straight!" etc etc? These, you're just kind of, surfing B) What's the Catch? ... 1) I'm aware of some longevity concerns w/ tread, but I'd imagine the give-or-take goes to the shoe FTW - anything reasonable would be worth it b/c the shoe is that great. 2) I'd be lying if I wasn't a bit concerned about the construction of the eyelets - they give the impression that too many tough yanks will make them angry. Worst case, you can craft some metal loops into the shoes, and gives you a reason to visit w/ your local tailor and share stories :)

While I really like my Men's Wrapt shoes, I found them almost too snug on the width and length. I wear a 13 but they feel like a 12. I can walk about fairly comfortably, and I also know there's a break-in period; even my Moab 3 Mids were snug too, but the Moab width feels a bit more roomy than the Wrapts. I do appreciate the wider forefoot area. All in all, a very snug design. I recommend a different eyelet material; however, using elastic/bungee cord-like laces is a great work around
