Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable I wear these to work in a garden center. Sneakers would have been my first choice but boots are required. I was concerned they wouldn’t be waterproof, but so far have kept my feet dry, and I have worked in the rain and just after all the plants were watered. Very pleased they keep my feet dry. I work 25 hours a week in these boots, but have not had them long enough to assess their durability. They are taking quite a beating so far, and still look nice. Runs true to size. I wear a 7.5 or 8 in Merrell’s And other brands, and the 7.5 fits great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than I expected! I bought these boots to wear in my first Spartan obstacle course race in March. They met and succeeded my expectations. My feet were dry and warm the entire time which helped me focus on competing at a higher level than I would have if I were wearing sneakers. They are light so I never felt weighed down or impaired. Very happy with my purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the Merrell hiking boots I really like the comfort and cushion these boots offer; however, the left shoe bunches up in the back and has to be pulled up where the light blue fabric lining is. It bunches up, and that tells me that it wasn't made as well as it should have been for such a pricey shoe. The right shoe is fine. Make sure inner fabric's not loose on one shoe when you buy them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great fit First time buying hiking boots. They fit great with my orthotic and they keep my feet toasty warm with my slightly thicker socks. Worth the investment!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from rugged looks This boot seems rugged and made well. It fits good. The sole seems a little slippery when climbing over rocks. Other than that, it is a good boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skeptic turned believer!!! I've always believed that the reason you wore thick hiking socks was to minimize the blisters as no matter what shoe I purchased....blisters. This hiker is so different. From the time I put them on, it feels like having on my favorite lightweight trail runner or a ballet slipper. We just hiked down to the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon on the S. Kaibab trail (steep) and no toe pain at all. Hiked back up yesterday and soreness elsewhere on my body, but my feet feel like they could go another 16. Thank you Merrell for this new design....the heel is cushiony and you can't feel any of the shoelace hooks no matter how narrow your foot is or how much you tighten the laces. Will buy multiple pairs of these when I return to civilization!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy!! I bought these the day I headed off to a retreat. The best thing I can note is that I didn’t have to break them in before wearing them for a full day. I always have good luck with Merrell shoes.
