Merrell, Please Listen

I've been wearing Antoras since you first brought them out. The first version was the best... the second was still pretty good... seems like every go-round has made things worse, with the most recent changes being a serious problem for quite a few of your customers. The soles wore better on the earlier versions, the toe box has gotten too narrow, and the color selection - especially for those of us with wide feet - has become awful (nothing but black and off-white, really???). Please fix these things for your next version of Antora! I can't find anything I like nearly as well as my Antora 1s and 2s, most of which are still going strong.

Sad They Changed

I've been a big fan of the Antora 3's wide. I actually bought 4 pairs and have since worn them out. The Antora 4's shoe last changed. I bought a pair of 4 wides and they hurt my feet like no tomorrow, they also only come in white and light lavender, who makes a trail running shoe in these colors? Antora 3's came in great patterns and the wide shoe was actually wide. Really bummed Merrell changed things up, I'll be moving on to something different, boo!

Disappointed Trail Runner

If you didn't wear the previous models and the 4s suit your foot shape, they may be great for you. They're not for me. I'm a tail runner and LOVE my Antora 3s. I tried So. Many. Trail shoes and the 3s were perfect the moment I slipped them on. I run ultras and have never had a blister in my 3s. I was a bit concerned but optimistic when they moved to the 4s. Same model, right? No. Completely different shoe in almost every way. New sole, material, shape, etc. I am so disappointed. They might be a little lighter but at the cost of resilience. The 4s feel comparatively cheap and are not nearly as durable. The lugs are shallower and the sole just doesn't have the grip anymore. If you're running trail and liked previous antora models, it's definitely a downgrade. I am buying every reasonably-priced Antora 3 in my size that I find. I do have a pair of 4s and use them for shorter runs. They're fine or whatever. But I will definitely be looking for something new while I carefully budget my miles in the 3s I have squirreled away and tear through the much less resilient 4s.

Great Comfort And Stylish Too!

Fell in love with these gorgeous sneakers! I have only worn them around the house testing them out and I can’t wait to take them on my upcoming trip! They were comfy right out of the box and look great too! I purchased the aqua colour.

Not As Good As They Used To Be

Not happy with the changes you have made to the Antora line. Sometimes improved is not better. Also your choice of colors has changed for the worst. You used to have some really funky colors - pink leopard, rainbow, flowers, etc. Yours options are just boring!

Disney Approved!

I bought these after a long search trying different types of shoes to find the right fit for an upcoming Disney trip. These shoes did not disappoint! They provided great support for walking around Disney and I have found that I enjoy using them in daily life as well for walking and every day tasks. I like the tie dye color too - it adds an understated personality.

Antora Shoes

I have always bought Antora shoes right now I have one pair of Antora 2 and three pairs of Antora 4. They are the most comfortable shoes for me. I walk up to 4 miles a day and have no problems at all.

Walker!

Bought my usual 6.5, it was huge, no arch support, very disappointed.

A Bit Disappointed

This is the first pair of Merrell shoes I have owned. I purchased them specifically because of the roomy toe box, which has been comfortable and gives my feet plenty of space. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed with the level of arch support. After wearing them for extended periods, my feet feel tired and achy, especially through the arches. I was hoping for a shoe that combined comfort with better overall support.

Pleased!

These shoes are a great fit for my narrow feet. I typically take a size 7 and the size 7s I purchased fit well. Currently experiencing some Achilles tendon pain, and these shoes provide some relief. Reasonable arch support. I have a pair of the waterproof Antoras which fit similarly, but I do find these ones a bit cooler.

I have only worn them once and they r comfortable. Not thrilled with the color. I get things dirty here walking in the desert so I hope they wash well. love merrills

Antora 4

I have been wearing the Antora’s for years - have had at least 10-12 pairs - have loved them - this new shoe is cheaply made - the tongue is different, the plastic piece that runs near the toe is the same as running shoes that my toe always comes out of - the old ones ran down lower and eliminated that problem. The heel is different. The stubs on the bottom seem less raised. I look for these to last me about a month and a half. Won’t be buying again, unless you go back to the old version. Also, the toe box is smaller. This more of a cheap running shoe than a trail shoe.
