I like the style the comfort and color. My feet have finally found a home. Sometimes I even sleep in them.

I got Merrell Moab 3 nonwaterproof in Falcon color, as per reviewers' recommendations in my size and width. The color was a nice neutral Taupe, so all good there. The shoes seemed well made, but they were tight right out of the box. AI instructed that they may require a bit of breaking in. Well, that didn't happen. In fact, the top of the shoe (with the dark reinforced part) was hurting the tops my toes so badly even while sitting in the car that I had to take them off after a few of minutes because my whole foot was hurting and I was in agony . I wear size 8 W: I can fit into regular width hiking shoes in they run wide, but feel better in wide width, which is the size I purchased. I tried super thin socks, thicker socks, medium socks -- the pain was still there. This is my first pair of sneakers that I purchased in my size, and they are actually too small. Usually, they are fine, if anything, they often -- like Keen -- run large so people can wear them with thick socks. I certainly didn't expect my sneakers to cause the pain when I purchased them to help with fallen arches. Too late to return -- expensive, so super-disappointed in this brand.

Love these! Super comfortable….required no break in time!

Why are there no black or dark colored options? I’m replacing my black hiking shoes and I’ll be going to Utah and Arizona and don’t want the red soil staining light colored shoes but they absolutely no black options? I’m so confused. They only have brown which I’m not a fan of. Why 12 pairs of light colored options. Annoyed.

After two knee replacements and a repaired fractured hip, I struggled to find a shoe that would allow me to go on a daily trail walk with my dog without having pain in my feet. The Moab 3 style has worked for me right out of the box. The shoes have a sturdy sole but flexible upper which gives my feet the stability and comfort that they need. I am very pleased with the Merrel brand.

Second pair of these boots. Fit perfectly out of the box. Very happy.

I bought the earlier version of this shoe. Wore it twice and the back of the shoe fell apart . Reached out to Merrell and they said it was wear and tear. Send pictures including the bottom of the shoes which confirmed it was barely worn. Very disappointed with their response and the quality of these shoes

No Break in needed just wore them on a National Park trip! Comfy & good support.
Perfect as always Loved my first pair of hikers so much. Still going strong after 6 years but wanted an inside pair for my hiking treadmill
These are my go-to shoes for daily life. I have worn them for years. At the moment I have 6 pair.

These are perfect hiking shoes, straight from the box. They have the grip of hiking boot without the height to rub against my Achilles. Very happy with them.

Initially liked these shoes especially for the better toe box not slanted. However, within a week of wearing I developed plantar fasciitis and serious pain in the ball of my foot. I looked up VIBRAM soles and they do not have a good reputation. They are too hard/stiff! I had gotten rid of previous shoes with VIBRAM soles for that very reason. For some reason my jungle mocs, which also have Vibram soles haven't been a problem. I have 3 pair that I routinely wear and they don't seem nearly as hard and stiff. Are their different levels of these soles? I'm unsure what I can do about these shoes now as my feet are killing me and will take a long time to recover...
The Moab 3's have proven comfortable and performed great on multiple trails in Oregon from the high desert to the lush forest trails. Whether dry or wet, they have been great.
Highly recommend
Great fit held up well in extreme hiking in Utah mountains
