I initially bought these thinking they were waterproof, as the exact same pair in wide width is. Unfortunately, they are not. However, I decided to keep them as I needed a solid pair of hiking shoes for a trip to the Rockies, and I’m so glad I did. These shoes were fantastic. I wore them for at least 12 hours a day, and they held up beautifully. They were incredibly comfortable, easy on the knees, and my orthotics fit in perfectly without any issues. What really impressed me was how breathable they were, even in hot weather. My feet stayed cool and dry throughout long hikes. Despite the lack of waterproofing during a rainy day or walking through wet grass, they exceeded my expectations in terms of support, comfort, and durability. Great for long days on the trail.
