The Shoes That Tripped Me!

I loved the women’s Moab hiking shoes I ordered a few months ago. I only tried it on today, and it looks good on my feet; it does not make it look big on these shoes. The fit is perfect! My only concern was the metal clip at the top of the tongue for the shoe lace. It got caught on my left shoelace, almost tripping me this morning on my morning walk. If you could do away with that design, that would be better. Just leave an extra hole instead.

National Park Hiking

I went hiking in Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks. I encountered all sorts of terrain, from creeks to rocks. I’m so glad they are water proof. While out on Rialto Beach, I nice young women looked over at me and said “Hey, we have the same shoes!” We both thought that they were comfortable.

Great Shoe, Water Proof, Warm

Wore these hiking in Iceland. Feet stayed warm and dry, despite wind blowing rain for hours. Climbed over rocks, and hit the sides of the shoes a ton. The tread and sides held up really well. Only minor scuffs. All mud, volcanic ash, and black sand washed off.

Comfort Level Can't Be Beat On These!

So I don't hike. I was in an accident in 2021 that left me with both ankles sprained. My right ankle with a severe sprain and a side of permanent damage. I tried multiple pairs of different brands of shoes that were just not comfortable. I had the thought to try hiking boots because of being taller than average sneakers for more ankle support. First pair of hikers I purchased were the Merrell Moab 3 Mid Waterproof. They were so comfortable! I have a job that requires a lot of walking throughout my shift, so comfort is important. I decided to purchase a new pair of these when my first pair started to wear out because I am pretty confident, I will never find another pair of shoes with this level of comfort! Still have the first pair for back up! Bonus......if I ever want to take up hiking, I know the perfect shoes are these!!!

Great

I like the shoe so far. I got it because people say Merrell can last for a decade, an I've used it to go on a 14km trail and it's great. I feel protected.
