Not The Greatest
I really wanted to love the Merrell Moab 3 Waterproof because I like the style, the color, and it does a great job keeping my feet dry. Unfortunately, after using it on several hikes, I was pretty disappointed. The biggest issue was comfort. My feet were hurting a lot during and after every hike, even on trails that weren’t extremely technical. The traction was also a major letdown. On both dry and wet terrain, I slipped multiple times because the outsole just didn’t provide enough grip for me, which made me feel less confident on the trail. If you’re looking for a waterproof hiking shoe with a nice appearance, the Moab 3 does deliver in those areas. But based on my experience, the lack of comfort and poor traction outweigh the positives. I personally wouldn’t choose this shoe again for hiking.

Comfortable, Long Wearing Shoes
I am delighted with my purchase of the Moab 3 Waterproof hikers. I wear them every day, while walking with my two Alaskan Malamutes. We don't hike away from home every day away but our property is hilly and has plenty of mole hills, holes, and tree debris that often provides trip hazards. I feel confident in my Moab 3s and have less falls. And that's a big plus for someone with a knee replacement.

Great Shoes, Bad Customer Service
I ordered the shoes in a wide width. I received a medium width. When I called customer service, they were very apologetic and even gave a small discount to send out the correct size. I was pleased with customer service until I received the second order that was again a medium width. I gave up and ordered the shoes directly from the manufacturer. I haven't hiked with them yet, but they seem very comfortable. If you need a wide width, don't order from Dicks.

Blisters! Size Up Or Unwearable
Im so so sad! I’m a lifelong Merrell fan and was so excited to try out these shoes, I’d heard so many good things. I followed the size guide, noting that these often fit true to size, but the sizing isn’t correct for me. I didn’t realize this at first and I thought I’d be able to break them in but alas, no luck. After quite a lot of walking in them, the blistering is so bad I unfortunately can’t wear the shoes. Im so upset these didn’t work out ORDER UP OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WEAR THESE SHOES!

Love The Shoes But More Colors Please!
I bought this second pair in three years because the first pair were finally breaking down after hiking all over Scotland in them then daily wear while working in a vet clinic (with concrete floors!) my only complaint is one that I have with many shoe companies lately and that’s can women get the same color options as the men?! They have twice as many dark colors! Not all women want/need pale pastels…especially ones with pink/purple/teal trims. My feet are too small for the men’s shoes.
