Comfort

Very comfortable right out of the box. I need a wider toe box and these fit great.

Wide Width Isn't Wide Sizing Runs Small

I've been wearing WP Merrell Moab since 2014 and the quality keeps going down, the sizes aren't the same and the widths get narrower. I was hoping his season there would be an improvement but there isn't. Returning and looking for a new brand 🤷🏼‍♀️

Best Hikers

These are the best, most comfortable hiking shoes. They are sturdy and firm and help you keep your balance.

Beware! Run Small And Narrow!

I have had several pairs of Moabs over the years, but decided to try the waterproof version for our trip to Disney World. I wore them several times around town and on short hikes (< 5 miles) and they felt pretty good. Unfortunately, after the first day trekking around Disney World, I developed a massive blister on my pinky toe. The right shoe was actually pushing my pinky toe under my second toe. The entire toe was a blister. I am consistently a women’s size 10M, which is what I purchased. These proved to not have the roomy toe box like the regular Moab 2 & 3. Maybe a wide would have been better, but it is too late now. I will have to donate them. In the end, I would say size up and order wide because these run smaller than the non-waterproof Moab hiking shoes.

Waterproof Failure

Bought these for travel due to the Vibram sole traction on slippery surfaces and Gortex for waterproofing. They performed fine on my trip to Portugal with slippery tile walking surfaces and some rainy days. I did have an epic fail with them on a windy, rainy day on my recent trip to Iceland The shoes became two buckets of water on my feet.I still rated them 4 stars as they are comfortable and provide secure footing on slippery surface
