Great Shoe
The 5 stars are for the shoe itself. Well made, good support and comfortable. I returned them because they were too big. I have been wearing Merrells for more than 20 years. I always get size 7 and they always fit. This shoe and the box both stated the shoes were a size 7. They were more like size 8. If Merrell shoes are all made outside the US, then quality control needs to be better.

Very good hiking shoe. Love, love, love the outsole! Gives me great confidence on slippery terrain. The outsole is a fantastic upgrade from my previous Trail Glove 5 shoe, however, the toe box is slightly more narrow and the cut at the ankle slightly higher. Overall bulkier than the Trail Glove 5.
