So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used for some climbing and haven’t died yet! Loops are cool, can’t complain. Been using it for several years now. Need some more characters..

Classic Piece Of Gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a classic, does the job. They make a dynamic version so if I were to buy again I'd pick that one. There are 1,000 options for personal anchors and this is a solid choice for a beginner like me

Freakin Rad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started solo rope climbing, and have been using this pas as a safety hold while moving up the rock! It’s sturdy and has caught me everytime

Hard To Beat The Classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are lighter or more easily adjustable systems out there, but it's hard to beat the pure versatility and utility of the classic PAS. My only complaint is that I wish they offered a version that was one link shorter, as I rarely ever use the last link and it just ends up in the way. I suppose a good set of scissors could fix that problem though.

Classic, Gets Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this item fresh out of box for a long multipitch route in red rocks. Used on the multipitch rappelling … 8 of them in a row! All hanging belays. This worked well. Very lightweight. I think with more use it will get even more supple and easier to handle.

Nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well for anchoring and repelling. Light weight and easy to fit onto harness loops. Nice colors and comes in two options so can differentiate them.

So Very Useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Metolius Pas about 10 years ago. Several years have passed since retiring it, and I decided to buy another one. Feels just as solid as the first one. Extremely happy with this useful piece of gear.

Appears To Be Very Nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not yet used this, but the build seems very solid. I got the one with the yellow end ring so that it would stand out more.. as compared to the blue with green end ring.

Been Using These For Years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These allow you to adjust anchor length quickly when needed. I have used them extensively for guiding canyoneering and climbing. You can easily clip a loop further out, after connecting into the rope, to weight test yourself before actually disconnecting from your anchor system when rappeling. I have purchased 3 so far and I think these Metolius PAS are the best.

Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily use this to anchor in at the top of a sport climb. It definitely works as expected. For redundancy, I use a regular sling because it's way cheaper, but pair it with the adjustable Metolius PAS. The ability to use multiple lengths is helpful to balance yourself on any funky anchors that are offset from each other.
