The Metolius Quarterdome is generous in space allowing for storage packs if required, its weight is tolerable for its size. I had searched for a relatively practical sized bag whereby the Quarterdome was the correct fitment for my needs. Metolius make larger and smaller sizes in similar to the Quarterdome and will cater for any required service need. Great Crag Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bag a few weeks ago and have been able to take it to a few crag sessions. So far, the bag has performed great! I have been able to fit all of my gear, rope, water, clothes and lunch with ease. Solid outer construction looks like it will stand up to a beating but have not been able to test that yet. A nice feature is that it stands upright independently which makes loading it easier. The shoulder straps and waist strap are also pretty confortable, more so than I was expecting for the type of bag this is. Not quite as comfortable as my backpacking pack, but I wouldn't expect this from the collapsible and stowable straps. Overall, I am very happy with this bag and would recommend it to someone looking for a good crag bag. Probably a little small for a big wall but honestly have not tried it for that.
