We're using these radios to provide safe effective communication during trap shoot. One person is overseeing the shooters with another person in the trap house running the thrower. The people doing each task changes frequently so cell phones are not practical. The radios are used about 50 feet apart. The trap house is an all cement block building buried in the side of a hill. There is no direct line of sight. The radios are typically used 3-6 hours a week, charged once a week. No issues. The only complaint is the volume is very loud on the lowest setting for a typical environment. However, considering we're all wearing hearing protection, we use these radios on a volume setting of 5 or 6.

Fair Range,, Nice Cradle, One Call Tone
Took these skiing with kids,, They worked the expected less than 1/2 mile distance. I like the charging cradle, works well and the batteries lasted all day. I dislike the SINGLE call tone and it can not be lowered. MAybe skiing ok but hunting and depressing it by accident would not. Our other radios have ~10 tones, can assign a tone for each person,, Their dedicated tone rings on others radios.

Kids Love Them
I bought them for my kids as a Christmas gift. They use them almost every day in some way. Not sure of the range, but they use them in the house and around the yard.
