Boat Platform Labeled For Kayaks

I was initially excited about this trolling motor—it checks all the boxes in terms of features that kayak anglers are looking for. However, its execution leaves much to be desired. At nearly twice the weight it should be, it significantly compromises the performance and handling of a kayak, especially at the bow, which tends to dig into the water under the added load. It feels like this product was more of a retrofit than a thoughtfully designed solution. Rather than engineering a motor specifically for kayaks, the design seems to simply replicate what the community has been doing—cutting down a standard shaft—and rebranding it for kayak use. In the end, I’ll be returning this and moving to a platform that offers the same features in a significantly lighter package .There’s a real opportunity here for the company to lead the market with a purpose-built, lightweight trolling motor for kayaks. I hope they take that step

I bought this trolling motor about a month ago and have used it regularly since then. I mounted this on the bow of my Old Town PDL Pro. Very simple to install with the quick release bracket and after that you just need to add your favorite plug and you're off. This motor is quick, quiet and efficient I couldn't recommend it enough!
