Functional!

Unfortunately I lost the hat a week into my trip. I purchased it because of the extreme heatwave in Italy, and it functioned well to keep the sun off my face and neck. I didn't try out the cooling features, but even without wetting the brim it was pretty comfortable and didn't add much to my heat stress. I borrowed my friend's similar hat for the rest of the trip and it was warmer, had a less durable cord, and wasn't size adjustable. I'm sad I lost this hat and I'm considering purchasing another.

Bout for golf and hiking in hot weather. Brim was too soft. Would never hold up if it got sweaty

Love this bucket hat. It's a great size, reasonable price, great material, and has a chin strap. The only criticism is the chin strap material isn't soft. On a windy day it can rub a bit. Otherwise it's perfect and I'll probably always have one .

I work outside, I bought this hat to protect my head and face from the sun. So far the Mission Cooling Booney hat does what it was made to do. Light weight and breathable. The brim does catch the wind a little bit but the adjustable head band keeps it on my head. Although I do not use it often the chin strap keeps it handy when not wearing.
