My cheap petzl harness was almost falling apart from the chimneys and crystalline granite I had made it subject to, so I decided to upgrade. The Cadillac is great, definitely comfy enough for all day climbing and makes the hanging belay while my partner flails on that 5.8 offwidth so much more survivable. I also don’t mind the extra weight versus some other harnesses, it still feels sleek and works great for hard cracks in the creek.
