Glove Great Stitching Horrible!

We bought this glove for my 8 yr old son and 6 months later the laces busted near the basket of the glove. The laces are thin and the leather is dry rotting already. The glove itself is good quality but the laces they used are very cheap. Be prepared to buy new laces if you purchase this glove. Again, would recommend the glove but replace upon purchase with higher quality leather. Mizuno is not making the all around quality gloves as I had from my childhood.

New Laces Needed After 1 Season

Purchased in March of 2023 for my 7yo who was moving up to 8u baseball. Worked well for the first year. During pre-season of 2024 the top laces broke. Bought a rawlings glove lacing kit and repaired the top laces. Hoping to get 2 more seasons.

Similar to other reviews. Okay glove for the price. Easy to break in. Top laces broke after two seasons which was disappointed.

Quick To Break In

I bought this glove for my 7 year old for Christmas. It was very easy to break in. We were at a tournament and it broke. The laces at the top broke. The glove was used for 5 1/2 months.

Best Youth Gloves

We went from using the 10.5 size of this glove when my son was playing machine pitch to using this 11.5 for Minors and 8u. This glove takes no time to break in and takes well to the in store steaming. Highly recommend these gloves for comfort!

I bought this glove for my 6 year old son who was moving up from t-ball to baseball. I noticed he was having trouble closing his t-ball glove when having a catch and he picked this glove due to the comfort level of the interior and how it felt as though the glove was already broken in. His catching improved immediately and he’s had no complaints about the upgrade. I’m also a bit of a brand loyalist when I’ve had good experiences and Mizuno has always been quality to me.

Unbelievable Quality For The Price.

I have small hands, am an adult, yet was able to modify this glove to fit my hand and wow is it a stellar performer for the price. Lots of pop, and just feels high quality when worn. Enjoying every minute of it. Been in use now for over 6 months and gets used nearly 3 days a week. Thought I would buy this till I decided on a 200+$ glove but honestly I have zero intention of upgrading. Fantastic in fielding glove that’s fun to pitch and catch with on the daily. Feels good.

One Practice And It Was Broken In

The leather is soft and the less stitching in the pocket makes such a difference for a little kid

I bought my son a glove last year and this year even thowe he doesn't play much the pocket on the finger side comes apart.
