Good Cage Bat.......

I have a number of wood bats (Wood Comp/Maple/Birch/Ash) that I swing, The Mizuno MZB 62 Bamboo is an good cage bat. It will let you know when you don't make good contact so I find bats like this to be an excellent trainer rather than a bat I'd use in a game. It has well over 500 hits (70mph) on it in the cage and shows virtually no wear. Since it's bamboo I expect it to last for quite a while as it tends to be quite a durable material. I have a 1.1mm Lizard skin on it and use a thumb guard to lessen the shock to my hand when I make poor contact with it. It is definitely harsher on the hands than any of my other wooden barrel bats.

Good Solid Bat

Mizuno bamboos have always been my go-to choice, and this one does not disappoint. Solid feel, solid contact, I know it will last a long time

Next Bat Please

Purchased on-line June 13, 2025 - bat arrived June 21, 2025 - my son used in game on June 23, 2025 where it cracked in his third at bat. Dick's Sporting Good need signage stating bats are sold "As Is". Mizuno replaced under warranty but will not upgrade with difference paid by consumer.
