About This Item

The JPX925 Hot Metal Pro redefines the performance of an already industry-leading franchise. Combining the power and speed of Nickel Chromoly with a newly engineered CORTECH Design featuring a Contour Ellipse face, the consistency of distance across the entire impact zone has never been as long and predictable. The addition of tungsten weighting low in the head adds a height and landing angle element that makes hitting precise shots into greens easier than ever. Designed for golfers seeking a more compact profile, the Hot Metal Pro offers the same advanced technology in a sleeker, more refined package.

FEATURES

  • CORTECH Design featuring Contour Ellipse Face: A completely re-engineered multi-thickness face profile that pushes to the extremes, getting up to 30% thinner than the previous generation. The Contour Ellipse Face enhances center ball speed and ensures maximum speed retention throughout the impact zone.
  • Multi-Material Construction with Tungsten Weighting: Tungsten positioned low in the 4-7 irons creates a higher launch with a lower sweet spot, producing a steeper landing angle.
  • Chromoly 4140M: Allows for a high strength face with a bendable hosel for fitting, due to its high strength to weight ratio and malleability.
  • Seamless Cup Face: One-piece Cup Face geometry with thinned areas revolving 360 degrees around the perimeter, increasing rebound area for maximum ball speed across the entire face.
  • Variable Sole Thickness: Increase overall face flex area for added CORAREA.
  • Balanced Stability Frame: Balanced weighting improves control while maintaining forgiveness and producing a tour preferred vibration and sound.
  • Harmonic Impact Technology: Fine-tuned head geometry delivers ideal feel and feedback at impact.
  • Acoustic Sound Ribs: Precisely dialled in vibration patterns for a solid, explosive impact sound.
  • Chromoly 4140M: Allows for a high strength face with a bendable hosel for fitting, due to its high strength to weight ratio and malleability.
  • White Satin Brush Finish: A modern elegant, yet durable non-glare finish.

Great Upgrade!

I had a set of Taylor Made R7 irons and anted to try some of the newer models to see if the new technology made a difference. I did a club fitting and despite ChatGPT recommending these clubs based on my swing metrics and goals during my research, I didn’t plan on testing them because they were “Mizuno”. Coincidentally, the fitter recommended that I try this club as well and after consistently smacking it, there was no doubt. I’ve played several rounds with them and I have made more consistent contact and the ball flies 10-15 yards further. Highly recommend!

Love Love Love

I’ve had these irons for a month and I really, really love them. An upgrade from my 921HM. Granted I had the wrong shaft in my previous set, DG105, had trouble getting them up in the air. I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. A little lighter and higher launching, combined with hotter face and slightly stronger loft equals a dream set of irons for me. Nothing feels like a Mizuno. Can’t recommend more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
