Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful "Players" Cavity Back Iron Got fit for irons recently and these beauties surprisingly outperformed every other iron I was looking at in the same category of "players" irons. I get great dispersion, w/ decent distance and, of course, the legendary Mizuno feel. The most surprising thing that came up during fitting was how forgiving these irons are despite the compact size. Drop-off on off-centered hits isn't as massive as you'd expect from an iron in this category (and w/o all the tungsten, titanium, etc. bells & whistles). When you factor in the free custom shaft and grip options that Mizuno provides (vs other companies that upcharge for custom shafts), these beauties were a no-brainer. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs I bought this set about two months ago and couldn't be happier. They are the perfect clubs when transitioning from game improvement style clubs to better player clubs. The feel and control of these is amazing!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not impressed I've played Mizuno irons since the launch of the MP-67s and have also played the 68s, 69s, and mp5s. I wanted to switch to a slightly more forgiving iron that still played like a blade in it's ability to produce consistent trajectory control. Mizuno's marketing material suggested that this was the perfect iron for me. I have been playing these for a month and I regret buying them every time I play a round. In theory, it's great that you get a soft(ish) feel off the face when mishitting them, (but no where near as soft as previous Grain Flow Forged iron) however, what's the point of having a solid feel if the ball isn't going where you want it to? If I'm going to miss a target 5 yards short and right, I'd rather know that I mishit the clubs so that I can work to become a more consistent ball striker. If you're a 12+ handicap these irons might work for you. Otherwise, you should pass on these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another hit from Mizuno!! I bought thead irons to replace my JPX Forged and all I can say is WOW!! The feel, the trajectory, the softness and forgiveness is amazing. Are they much different from my old irons.... no. Are they an upgrade.... debatable. Are they worth it.... ABSOLUTELY. Anyone who can hit these and not fall in love needs to take up another sport. Well done once again Mizuno. Well done!!
