Poor Assembly

Picked this bike up yesterday for my grandson‘s birthday. People do your due diligence and check all nuts, bolts and screws as I found the gooseneck that holds the handlebars in place loose and had I not checked it and my grandson got hurt. I would be very upset. Just don’t understand when you buy something assembled. Should it not be tight and secure when it comes to someone’s safety?
