Rated 1 out of 5 by from WOW I bought 4 of these online from Dicks in August of 2017 for a new hunting lease. I have never been so disappointed by any hunting product. It is marketed to be placed on hunting trails and paths, but if you put it anywhere in the woods it will get destroyed by squirrels or raccoons. First they ate the dispersal chute trying to get to the corn, then they ate through the lid. None if that really mattered though as the motors seized up after a week in the humidity and rain of the North Carolina coastal region. About the only thing you can put in this is corn. Any type of pellet that will break down in rain, or humidity that causes condensation, and then harden into a mass once it dries will absolutely ruin the motors on these. I did clean them up and got the motors functioning somewhat but I put them back up with the 15 gallons of corn only to go back two weeks later to find out they hadn't worked once, but the squirrels, impatient for the corn had eaten holes in the lids and were pretty much having a grand old time. I will be shooting and eating those fat rodents very soon so I can at least feel like I got $2 worth of use out of the $400 I wasted on these. Also, 15 gallons of corn is way too much weight for the strength design of this feeder, maybe a weight restriction rather than gallon restriction would be good as you are only getting in it what you get in it volume wise anyway. I hear they work great to feed the fish for people with fish ponds and somewhere to hang them that is out of the rain. Maybe you should remarket them for that alone and save the integrity of your otherwise outstanding brand name.
