Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sun Baked Lid Bought several. The sun warps the lid so I have to duck tape them down. Even if they don't warp the raccoons have figured out how to open it. Craft boogers ain't they!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weak strap but great feeder Feeder works great and the deer love the wide opening, but the strap is not durable and broke after only 2 weeks. Had to replace it with metal strapping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install and works as it should! Installation was simple and easy. Installed two of these feeders December 1st and I'm very pleased with results. Also set out game camera to view the various deer that are coming in to the feeder. GREAT PRICE! EASY INSTALL! RELIABLE PRODUCT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add extras I added another (ratchet) strap around the tree, and fastened the lid with cords. Never thought of squirrels eating holes. Will fix or kill & eat the suckers. Only problem is my bow can't hit the small deer that come in. (the ones with spots, or as we call them "flavor crystals".

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not hold up to squirrels I purchased this feeder to feed corn to deer in my back yard. It worked great until after about two months the wrath of the squirrels destroyed it. The squirrels chewed a hole in the top and then to top it off, It has a nylon strap to attach to a tree, which the squirrels completely chewed through, and I found the feeder laying on the ground. In short, after about two months, I ended up throwing this feeder in the garbage, which is unfortunate due to the squirrels. If you have a squirrel-free area, then this feeder would be good, otherwise I ended up buying a metal trough/bunk feeder. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feeder The Feeder works great. If you have a problem with the lid, as I did, stop and look at the lid. There's a front and back to the lid and the front corners are different than the rear. As other that have commented, I too initially though the lid didn't fit correctly and got frustrated, then I figured out the front and back issue. Like most, I didn't read the instructions and tossed the box before heading into the woods. One additional suggestion, its a good idea to take a drill and put some holes in the bottom of the feed tray since its exposed to the weather, e.g. rain. That should prevent your feed from soaking in rain water and turning into mash.
