This was an impulsive move, located near the checkout line. It was a sunny, hot day in the heart of Texas, where air conditioning wasn't enough to cool you off: you needed to ingest a refreshing beverage. Late afternoon, a little pick-me-up called out to me, and I bought the Mountain Dew. Ahhhh. So refreshing. like the honey sweet dew, at high altitude; the bubbly carbonation trickled down my throat, bringing instant relief. The cooling process started almost immediately. and I was refreshed. It all ended suddenly, as if i were stopping before running a red light at an intersection. And the sliding doors opened. and I had to go back outside.
